Handicap allowances will be as per WHS rules and shall be 60% of the lower handicap plus 40% of the higher handicap in the team, with an adjustment for the different sets of tees. No couple shall receive more than 24 strokes. The competition shall be decided by stroke-play over 18 holes using the Greensomes format in accordance with the Rules of Golf and any additional local rules. Ladies play from Red Tees and Gents play from White Tees.

All bookings to be made online via Stirling Golf Club’s own website with players selecting T-Times on a first come first served basis. Full payment by credit or debit card must be made at the time of booking and include the following details for each player: Name; Home Club; CDH Number; and Handicap Index, along with the Email Address and contact phone number of the person whose Credit / Debit Card is used to pay the booking. These details will be used by SGC to communicate changes to T-Times or send Refunds etc.

Players must register their attendance no later than 20 minutes prior to their start-time.

It is the players responsibility to arrive on the 1st Tee ready to play, no earlier or later than 5 minutes prior to their start-time. The starter has the authority to penalise any player two strokes, added to their 1st hole score, if in his opinion they are not ready to play when he calls their name on the 1st Tee.

Entry fees will be refunded up to two weeks before the competition. No refunds will be made thereafter. Cancellations must be made in writing to the Secretary as soon as possible.

The M&H Committee reserves the right to adjust tee times by up to 30 minutes. Once the draw sheet is full, further players wishing to join the waiting list, should contact the Secretary.

The pairing with the lowest net score will receive first prize and have their names engraved on the Trophy which shall remain within Stirling Golf Club. In the event of a tie for any prize, all winners shall be determined by the better inward half / outward half formula. If, however, a tie still prevails for first place, first place shall be decided by a one-hole play-off at the 14th Hole. (Hcp strokes will apply to any pair with a handicap allowance of 16 or higher, and each pair must play the hole as before.) The prize money for those sharing 2nd, 3rd etc shall be shared equally. If no tied players attend the play-off, the Trophy will be awarded to the players with the lowest Handicap Index’s.

Score cards will be considered returned once they have been entered into the club’s computer and returned to an officiating member of Stirling Golf Club. The competition is closed when the results have been posted on the club notice board. Prizes will be in the form of Stirling GC Professional vouchers for home players or Scottish Golf vouchers for away players. No player may win more than one prize. To be eligible to win a prize, a player must have returned 3 qualifying scores in the previous 12 months. The M&H Committee reserves the right to increase or decrease prize values at their discretion, and their decisions in all matters shall be final.

SGC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRIES FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT EXPLANATION.
